At Leela, students receive classical training in the unique and dynamic style of kathak developed by internationally renowned kathak master and guru, Pandit Chitresh Das. Artistic Directors Seibi Lee, Rachna Nivas and Rukhmani Mehta are dedicated to passing on the knowledge and training they received from their guru with care and integrity. Leela’s educational programs emphasize technique development, comprehensive study of music, movement, rhythm, history and culture, and artistic excellence.
