Weekly Classes
The Leela Academy’s weekly classes provide students with a structured and sequential approach to learning. The academy’s comprehensive curriculum provides students with an education in the foundational technique and vocabulary of kathak as well as supplemental topics such as music, rhythm, cultural history, and more. Immersive Learning
Each year the Leela Academy offers students with the opportunity to participate in flagship learning programs that accelerate progress and deepen knowledge. From summer retreats and residencies to weekend workshops, these immersive learning programs help students to strengthen their technique, expand their repertoire, and develop knowledge and mastery. Leela’s immersive learning programs are integral in facilitating connection, community, and artistry.

Workshops
The Leela Academy offers a range of workshops and exploratory master classes designed to introduce beginning students to the art of kathak and provide more experienced students with opportunities to hone their skills, refine technique, expand repertoire, and deepen their knowledge.
